COVID-19 Relief Fund

The Northern California Association of Equine Practitioners (NCAEP) is accepting applications for a new program supporting members with clients who are suffering financially in the COVID-19 pandemic.

As we have seen during other times of economic hardship, financial distress can affect an owner’s ability to pay for veterinary care. This is why the NCAEP has established a program to provide member veterinarians with funds to meet their patients’ immediate needs. This offer is for those patients who would not otherwise have access to veterinary care without undue financial hardship of the equine’s owner due to loss of income directly related to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. Available on a first-come, first-served basis. Funds will be limited to cases where essential medical care is being provided to efficiently and effectively reduce the suffering of an equine. The maximum reimbursement amount is six hundred dollars ($600) per Animal, with a maximum allotment of two thousand dollars per ($2,000) member practice.
