NCAEP touts a membership community from Redding to Salinas. We reach out to over 250 equine veterinarians in distribution, approximately 40% of all equine practitioners in California. Our mentorship program for UC Davis DVM candidates also offers early exposure to veterinary students. In order to serve our mission, we rely on the efforts of our members and the board of directors, as well as the financial support of our Corporate Education partners. Your financial support sustains our flagship educational and scholarship programs as well as our newly released emergency response trailer.
Each year, we offer multiple continuing education meetings for our members to attend a lecture and to gather in a social setting. Some of those meetings are broadcast to our satellite locations so that members living over 3 hours away from the event location are able to gather, stream the meeting live, and participate in the Q and A. These topics and speakers are chosen by our board, based on member feedback, and cover equine medicine and surgery, emergency preparedness, regulatory issues, and new drug and vaccine developments. Additionally, the NCAEP hosts an annual veterinary conference for equine practitioners.
Together we can make a difference.
